Video Resume

On the 24th April 2009, Student Council did a Video Resume Workshop. We started off with registering the participants and setting up the place for the speaker at 1:00pm. Fifteen minutes later, everyone gathered at LT1. The speaker introduced herself (Mollie Yeoh) from MyPath Sdn Bhd, a career development community company and briefed the students about the workshop. We had 1 hour of theory about what Video Resume Workshop is about and 1 hour of practical where by students practiced themselves in front of the camera. The speaker also showed examples of how a video resume works and a few interviews with the CEOs on what the employers look in an employee. Overall, the interaction and communication between the speaker and the students were good. Students enjoyed themselves. Finally the workshop ended at 3:15pm sharp.
